A brilliant day, after 2 years 'holiday' from trec thanks to Covid and other commitments it was really great to be back - although I made a few daft errors

Something rather different for us….. Eve’s owner wanted me to take Eve to a Trec competition. Our first time and we had no clue BUT though I would never have factored this in to my plans for a horse, I can actually definitely see that it’s a well thought out, educational concept. Eve learned a lot and it was all things she had never been faced with. Anyway, she returned home and told all the others she had actually been to a one day event and gone clear inside the time!
Fab day at Trec Lincolnshire Winter Series I 2021 - 22 today Princess Ruby was a superstar !! Thank you to Karen Otter for taking us, lovely to catch up with Bobby Jay, Helen Stevenson and Bella Craven and massive thanks to Sarah Kelsey and the trec Lincolnshire team for organising a great event

I’ve been doing some horse agility stuff with Monty at home and this seemed like a fun way to do it away from home and sort out his travel nerves. He did well - I forgot the course - and missed an obstacle out. Everyone was really friendly and helpful and they are incredibly well organised.

Great day at Trec Lincolnshire meeting up with friends and great result too, would have been better if I’d checked that back leg was in the box !!considering bees been off for nearly a month again thanks to Caroline, Sarah and all the helpers for all their hard work running the competitions xx

A Gr8 event and so nice to be competing rather than helping in the arena. Not done any ridden trec for a few years. So proud of Bee getting 2x 1st 1x 2nd and 1x5th. We were short on helpers/grooms today, but will have them all next time to assist if needed.
Can we arrange better weather for the next competition. Definitely not nice unloading in rain and dark. C u all in January H and
Another Trec Lincolnshire triumph! Always fun, still learning the rules. Such a long day for Caroline and Sarah. Lady Luck was shining down on Mr Colliebobs today! Maybe I should buy a lottery ticket!!! Long journey home in the rain but the Christmas decs in Spilsby as ever didn’t disappoint!!!

Fab day at Trec Lincolnshire yesterday !! Great day with great company no red shineys but Ruby actually stood for me to mount and we attempted jumps that terrified me sometimes winning isn’t about the rosettes
Soxie and my pretties from yesterday, not great placings but I was much calmer and enjoyed it as always, my kind of girly day out 5th in Pairs, sorry I let you down H, and 6th in Novice horse and 6th in our first attempt at Intermediate level where I swear the jump was nearly bigger than Soxie so I did wimp out at that but my little midget was just perfect

Thank you Caroline and Sarah for running another excellent competition. You both remained calm when issues arose and, despite being exhausted, kept smiles on your faces throughout. No mean achievement! We had a great weekend - the atmosphere was friendly and supportive, the POR gave us a beautiful ride through quiet countryside and the PTV was a challenge! The caterers were outstanding - just what you need after a tiring day in the saddle - and the weather could not have been better. Thanks also to all the many volunteers who make these competitions possible.

Thank you so much. We had a fab time. After Brad and I have had so much ill health over the last 4 years it was great to dip our toe into a competition again . It made me so happy that Bradley remembered his stuff and loved the PTV. I hope non of the L2A's thought we were out trophy hunting. We had to start again somewhere. Onwards to L3 then hopefully a couple of L4's just to prove, cancer and new knees, no teeth and cataracts are not an excuse but a reason to prove that you can!
What more can I possibly add to the fantastic comments? Just a massive Thankyou.
